Legacy Community Health announced the details for their 15th annual Mint Julep: Dream Girls and Guys, slated for Sunday, July 16, 2017, at Rich’s Houston. Doors open at 2:00 p.m., and the show runs from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. The Diana Foundation will be honored as Miss Mint Julep for the organization’s contributions to the Houston community.
Legacy Community Health welcomes Houston’s hottest drag performers to the stage for an afternoon of high-energy performances, glamour, and fun and not-to-be-missed surprises. This year’s chairs are Tony Bravo, Linda Cantu, and Ben Dillon, and they are planning a show that celebrates the honorees in style.
Being celebrated this year along with The Diana Foundation (Miss Mint Julep) are Jani Lopez (Ms. Mint Julep), and Bryan Hlavinka (Mr. Mint Julep). All proceeds will benefit Legacy’s vital HIV/AIDS Programs and Services.
"We are incredibly excited to be a part of this year's Mint Julep," said Tanner Williams, president of The Diana Foundation. "Our members have supported Legacy Community Health from the very start, and we are looking forward to a fantastic event."
Lending star power to the festivities are crowd favorites Shy Anne, Kaye Sedilla and Ginger Grant, along with some exciting new talent sure to raise spirits as well as money.
