Celebrate National Coming Out Day with a free screening of the documentary, "Ahead of the Curve," followed by a panel discussion with Curve Magazine founder Franco Stevens and the movie's director. Tickets are free; however, any donations will help support the Lesbian Health Initiative (LHI) as part of the Montrose Center's general programming. Movie will begin at 6:45 p.m. with the panel discussion starting at 8:15 p.m.

Community Guest for October: Tony's PlaceWe are pleased to welcome our community guest, Tony's Place.
Since 2016, Tony’s Place has been dedicated to supporting and empowering LGBTQ+ youth, ages 14-25, by providing a safe space, key services, and valuable programming. Currently, they are the only LGBTQ+ drop-in center that is open during the weekday in Houston; open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, and on average provide basic needs such as food and clothing to 40 LGBTQ+ youth a week. But the need for our services continues to grow, and we need your help to ensure we can reach every young person who needs us.
This year, Tony’s Place is striving to expand their reach and enhance services in two keyways:
To achieve these goals requires the support of compassionate individuals like you. Tony’s Place is asking for your financial support to raise the $50,000 needed for these expansions. Your contribution will directly impact the lives of LGBTQ+ youth, offering them the resources and support they need to overcome obstacles and achieve their dreams.
To make your donation, please visit tonysplace.org/donate. Every gift, no matter the size, helps us change lives. The Diana Foundation will match all donations raised prior and during our First Wednesday Happy Hour up to $500. All donations are made directly to Tony’s Place.
Ten years ago, members of The Diana Foundation began hosting our public happy hour event at Michael's Outpost. It is exciting that we are returning to where our long-lasting tradition all began.
